I wanted to share my teaching internship of 3 months and 16 days experience in a Primary School which was at Sekolah Kebangsaan Pendamaran Jaya, in Selangor last year and how it felt like to be a "Teacher" ❤ I have to say that I was very grateful for the given opportunity and experiences.I learned so many things from all of my beloved lecturers, my Supervisor Lecturer Madam Nina Nadia Hamidi, my Mentor Teacher Madam Najwa Latif, my fellow English Teacher Miss Hanisah, my favourite Mathematics Teacher Madam Norzuriana, all the teachers in SK Pendamaran Jaya and most importantly my best partner and friend, Mr. Harris Fazillah. You deserved a big applause for your efforts. I'm so glad that you're such a good friend.I'm so thankful for the kindness of the school staffs, teachers and students. They treat us well (•ˆ⌣ˆ•)
Honestly, I tried to do everything with passion and gave it my all, I mean with all of those lesson plans that I have wrote last year, burning the midnight oil like almost EVERY DAY, lack of sleep (3-4 hours only sobs) and literally it even showed crystal clear on my face (MY PANDA EYES OMG!), endless pressure and stress due to projects, report and work stuffs... I almost had a mental breakdown but thank God there were many nice and caring people around me! I'm so grateful!! Syukur Alhamdulillah ✿
My partner, Mr. Harris Fazillah and I started our teaching practicum on Wednesday, 2.8.2017. I remember that I was so nervous for the first day because we met all of the teachers in the school and we had to formally introduce ourselves as interns lol. It was so nerve-racking.
We were given the usual tasks and we started our lessons right away. I was delighted that the fact I was placed in morning session and meeting the students was another joyful experience for me. I was in awe when I looked at them and to see how cute my students reacted when I first enter their class... It was worth it (｡◕‿◕｡).
My students called me Teacher Ani and some call me Cikgu Mulyani, aww~ I'm glad that they didn't think my name or label it as weird but it's a bit unique, I guess lol. In fact, they called me all the time that I have to actually refrain them from calling me, unless it's necessary! Cute ❤. I know right...
I teach three class (4 Dedikasi, 4 Toleransi, 4 Efisien) and two subjects which were English subject as my major and Pendidikan Kesihatan as my minor subject. All of them were Year 4 students.
Dealing with students could be hard sometimes and during those tough moments... I will constantly think about my teachers during my school days and even my lecturers and deeply feel for them.
I shed tears sometimes because at times, it was just too hard for me. It's the truth and I'm such a fragile person at heart so it was a bit tough (╯︵╰)... But Alhamdulillah, I managed to get through it in the end, yayyy!~
I think you can spot me easily in this photo (First row, the first one from the left wearing all soft pastel green) with all of the teachers. It was a special event. Sadly, it was a Farewell Ceremony, I was a bit taken aback because Cikgu Iskandar is such a good and funny person. He is so kind to me and always joke around with me.
Amin Amin Ya Rabbal Alamin ❤
